Verified rides only

Reviews you can actually trust

No bought stars. No copy-pasted testimonials. On Rentie, a review can only come from someone who booked, rode, and returned, and shops can't edit a word of it.

We could paste a wall of glowing quotes here like everyone else. We won't, because you have no way to check them, and that's the whole problem with rental reviews. Instead, here's how the review system works, and where the live ones live.

How a Rentie review is born

two_wheeler

1 · A real ride happens

Booked through Rentie, picked up at the shop, returned and settled. The booking exists in the system with a fare and a receipt.

rate_review

2 · The rider rates it

After the ride, the customer rates the shop and the vehicle (1–5) and can leave a comment. One ride, one review.

visibility

3 · It goes public, untouched

The review appears on the shop's page with the rider's name masked ("Rahul S."). Shops can read it. They cannot edit, hide or delete it.

Why this matters in Dehradun

Rental horror stories here follow a script: quoted one price, charged another; "you scratched this" at return; deposits that take weeks to come back. Reviews from verified rides are the antidote, a shop that plays games collects the evidence on its own page. Combined with server-computed fares and WhatsApp receipts, the games stop paying.

Read the live reviews

Ratings and recent reviews sit on every shop's booking page, next to its fleet and prices, see them in the live listings. Just finished a ride yourself? Your review link is in your post-ride message, or rate straight from My Bookings.

Review FAQs

Who can write a review on Rentie?

Only customers who completed a real, booked ride. After your rental ends you get a review link, there's no open "write a review" box for the public, which is exactly why the ratings mean something.

Can shops edit or delete bad reviews?

No. Shops cannot touch customer reviews, not edit, not hide, not reorder. What riders wrote is what you read.

Where do I see reviews for a specific shop?

On that shop's booking page, open live listings, pick a shop, and its rating and recent reviews (with masked names) are right there next to the fleet.
